Airedale Terrier
February 25, 2011
The Airedale Terrier is a lovely dog. They are fantastic with children and are generally very obedient and patient dogs. I love their temperament and would highly recommend this breed for a family. They are gorgeous as puppies as well!
The breed originated from a cross between the Old English Black and Tan Terrier, which is now extinct, and the Otter Hound. This cross has resulted in an “all-round work dog”, that is capable of hunting, guarding and many other tasks. They are The largest of the terrier breeds and make a great pet.
The average lifespan is around 14 years, but can be as high as 16 years
