Australian Terrier
February 25, 2011
As the name suggests, the Australian Terrier was bred specifically to suit the harsh Australian conditions. They are very friendly and intelligent and love playing outdoors. These are a great choice for a family pet as they are easy to train with basic commands and are happiest when around people and playing.
If you are going to spend a lot of time outdoors with your dog, this is a great choice as it does not require as much grooming as some of the other smaller breeds. I personally know lots of families with this dog breed and am yet to meet one that I don’t like.
The average lifespan is around 13 years, but can be as high as 16 or 17 years in rare cases
